The story behind this page
God creates the world in six days: light, sky, land, creatures, and finally people made in His image. Everything is good.

Genesis 1:20–25
20God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”
21God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.
22God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
23There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
24God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind”; and it was so.
25God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.

Questions parents ask
Which days of creation does this page show?
Several at once. The sun, moon, and stars are the lights of day four; the fruit tree, flowers, and hills come from day three; the bird and the leaping fish are day five; and the rabbit and deer stand in for the land animals of day six. It works as one big summary picture of Genesis 1.
What age is this coloring page best for?
Roughly ages 3 to 10. The sun, tree, and animals are large shapes with thick outlines that preschoolers can handle, while older kids can slow down over the small stars, the individual fruits, and the flowers.
Can I print copies for my Sunday school class's Genesis unit?
Yes, print as many as you need for your class or children's ministry. A simple extension: as kids color, have them point to something on the page from each day of creation and say what God made that day.
Should we use crayons or markers?
Either works. Crayons are forgiving for younger kids, and the bold outlines hide wobbles well. If you use markers, print on regular paper and slip a spare sheet underneath in case of bleed-through.
