How many Christmas coloring pages are here?
Seven, and every one of them is free. Six are new for this Christmas: the nativity, the journey to Bethlehem, the angel and the shepherds, the baby in the manger, the wise men and the star, and a Luke 2:11 verse page. The seventh is our original birth of Jesus sheet.
Are these Christian Christmas coloring pages, or the usual holiday sort?
Every page comes straight out of Luke 2 or Matthew 2. You will not find snowmen, evergreen trees, or gift-wrapped boxes on any of them, because none of those belong to the account Scripture actually gives.
Can I use these for a Sunday school Christmas program?
Yes. Print as many copies as your class or program needs. The six new sheets also work as a countdown: one page per week through Advent, with the matching passage read aloud first.
Why do the wise men arrive in a house instead of the stable?
Because that is where Matthew puts them. Matthew 2:11 says the wise men came into the house and saw the young child with Mary his mother. Our page follows the text rather than the familiar manger tableau, and it is a good conversation to have with an older child.
What paper works best?
Standard 8.5 by 11 letter paper. Each PDF is already sized for it. Card stock holds up better to markers if you plan to string the finished pages along a mantel.
