What this verse means
God said these words to Joshua before a very big, very frightening task. The reason Joshua could be brave wasn't that the task was easy — it was that God promised to go with him everywhere. Children can borrow that same courage: being brave doesn't mean feeling no fear, it means trusting that God is right beside them.
When to use it: A page for the night before something hard — a first day, a test, a doctor's visit — or any time a child needs a little courage.
Coloring and memory-verse tips
- Say the verse aloud a phrase at a time while your child colors — coloring keeps hands busy while the words sink in.
